Kauai sunset-15 x 30 oil on wide wrapped canvas -Our respite during the pandemic took us to Kauai where every day the colors in the sunrise and sunset were so extraordinary that I had to paint this after returning home! My goal was to capture that fleeting moment with the backlight on the palms with their contrasting colors painted with super thick pallet knife!
