Textured Shore- 30×48 Oil framed in maple wood floater frame-This painting is inspired from Cayucos strand and taking an image of the water on the sand creating interesting shapes and reflections from the clouds- I have been experimenting with an underpainting in acrylic with abstract shapes and then painting in Oils over the basic shapes using brushes and pallet knives to create texture and movement.
