Summer Skies-36×36 oil This bold expressive painting came about after a recent drive at dusk after a hot summer day. Heading north on 101 towards San Miguel with the sun going down and the open skies slowly changing colors, I was able to snap a few pictures with my phone and tried to capture the mood in my studio.
