Carrizo Color- 11×14 oil framed in a distressed black wooden floater frame- After our recent Super Bloom of flowers in the Central Coast, this little painting was done quickly “a la prima” after a drive to the Carrizo Plains in Santa Margarita , Ca. The simple shapes of the oaks contrasting with the citron colored mustard greens made for a nice composition.
